The fuel assembly 1 has an average enrichment of the cross section of the lower region of about 4.6 wt% and an average enrichment of the cross section of the upper region of about 4.7 wt%. The average concentration of the outermost layer is about 5.6 wt% in both the upper region and the lower region.
