| abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide composition for a flexible tube for transporting oil or gas having excellent aging resistance. Especially useful for pipes used in offshore oil and gas development. Also useful for automotive tubes. Can withstand aging due to the temperature under the hood of the automobile and the transported fluid. Compositions having the following ratios (% by weight): PA-11, PA-12, aliphatic polyamides and nylons obtained by condensation of C6-12 aliphatic diamines and C9-12 aliphatic diacids At least one polyamide selected from 11/12 copolyamide with 90% or more 11 units or 90% nylon-12 units, 4 to 10% plasticizer, NBR or H-NBR elastomer 0-25%, but the total amount of plasticizer and elastomer is 4-30%. This composition can be manufactured by melt-mixing each component by the standard method of a thermoplastic resin. [Selection figure] None |
