An implantable device is provided that improves the pumping function of a human patient's heart by applying an external force to the heart muscle. The device comprises at least one cardiac contact organ. The cardiac contact organ is adapted to be movable to change the position of the force acting on the heart after the implantable device is implanted in a human patient. The invention further relates to a method of using said device. |
