titleOfInvention Inkjet head and inkjet recording apparatus
abstract An ink jet head capable of efficiently ejecting ink from an ink pressure chamber from a nozzle is provided. An ink jet head includes a substrate on which an ink pressure chamber is formed, a nozzle plate stacked on the substrate, and an actuator incorporated in the nozzle plate. The nozzle plate 2 includes a nozzle 11 communicated with the ink pressure chamber 14 and a vibration plate 4 exposed to the ink pressure chamber 14. The actuator 20 displaces the vibration plate 4 in the thickness direction to pressurize the ink in the ink pressure chamber through the vibration plate 4 and eject the ink from the nozzle 11. The ink pressure chamber 14 has a first dimension along the thickness direction of the substrate 12 and a second dimension along a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the substrate 12, and the first dimension is the first dimension. It is formed larger than the dimension of 2. [Selection] Figure 4
