abstract |
The present invention provides a more efficient heterogeneous catalyst that achieves a desired reaction while producing less waste in the production of branched aldehydes. Selection of at least 92% of the reaction to about 10-99.99 wt% branched unsaturated aldehyde and branched aldehyde by reacting the aldehyde with an acid polymer based catalyst free of any metal from Group VIII A continuous process and system for producing branched aldehydes by producing a product having properties and recycling a portion of the product.
