Disclosed are compositions and methods for preventing, eliminating, treating and managing neurodegenerative or neuro-muscular degenerative disorders and diseases in humans or animals. Preferably, the dose includes mannitol that facilitates the supply of ascorbic acid to the target cells in the brain. In addition, the dose includes zinc citrate to prevent the formation of kidney stones. Compositions in doses for various administration routes such as oral administration, intravenous administration, intramuscular administration, nasal, transdermal patch type, etc. have been described. |
