abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyester resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, mechanical strength and laser printability. SOLUTION: (A) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin, (B) 5 to 60 parts by weight of a phosphinate represented by the following general formula (1) or (2), (C) organosiloxane 1 to 20 parts by weight and (D) 0.01 to 30 parts by weight of colemanite, and the (C) organosiloxane is a (Cb) organosiloxane polymer, which is in a solid state at 25 ° C. A thermoplastic polyester resin composition, except that an organosiloxane compound in which 40 mol% or more of the organic groups bonded to a silicon atom directly or through an oxygen atom is an aryl group is excluded.
