titleOfInvention | Improved methods and compositions for F-18 labeling of proteins, peptides, and other molecules |
abstract | Kind Code: A1 A useful F-19 labeled molecule composition, method of synthesis, and method of use for labeling a target moiety quickly and easily with positron emission tomography (PET) imaging technology. The labeled molecule may be a peptide, protein, aptamer or the like, and other types of molecules may be labeled and used. A metal complex may be formed and attached to a chelating moiety such as DOTA to conjugate the F-19 label to the targeting molecule. The metal may be conjugated first to the chelating group and then F-19 to the metal. F-19 labeling moieties are obtained in combination with bispecific or multispecific antibodies to target F-19 to antigens expressed in cells or tissues associated with disease, medical conditions, or pathogens Possible conjugates may be included. The F-19 labeled targetable conjugate peptide is stable in human serum for several hours at 37 ° C. [Selection figure] None |
