titleOfInvention Semiconductor light emitting device
abstract A semiconductor light-emitting device capable of detecting a drop-off or abnormal deformation of a wavelength conversion member and stopping energization of a semiconductor light-emitting element. A CAN type semiconductor laser device package, a condensing convex lens and a wavelength converting member are fixed by a fixing structure. The CAN type semiconductor laser device package 1 emits blue light L1. The wavelength conversion member 3 absorbs part of the blue light L1 to generate light of different wavelengths, and mixes this with the blue light L1 to generate white light L2. A pressure sensor 6 is provided between the wavelength conversion member 3 and the spring 5. If the wavelength conversion member 3 is normally positioned on the fixed structure 4, the pressure sensor 6 generates a high level output signal S, while the wavelength conversion member 3 falls off the fixed structure 4 or the wavelength conversion member 3 If it is deformed, the pressure sensor 6 generates a low level output signal S. The output signal S of the pressure sensor 6 is supplied to the control unit 7. In response to the output signal S of the pressure sensor 6, the controller 7 controls the CAN type semiconductor laser device package 1. [Selection] Figure 1
