titleOfInvention Cell separation method and cell separation apparatus
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell separation method and the like capable of easily separating cells from a cell solution containing massive cells with the same apparatus. A valve 19a is opened and valves 19b and 19c are closed. When a predetermined amount of the cell-containing solution is filled in the solution holding unit 5 and then a pressure is applied to the cell-containing solution in the solution holding unit 5, the cell-containing solution is sent to the cell separation unit 7a. The cell-containing solution sent to the cell separation unit 7a passes through the filter 23 disposed in the cell separation unit 7a and is sent to the cell separation unit 7b. For example, the cell-containing solution after separating and collecting cells (cluster cells) having a size of 100 μm or more is stored in the solution storage unit 9. When a predetermined amount of the cell-containing solution is stored in the solution storage unit 9, the valve 19a is then closed and the valves 19b and 19c are released. Next, by applying pressure from the release unit 11, the cell-containing solution in the solution storage unit 9 is sent out to the flow path 21 connected to the cell separation unit 15.
