The present invention provides a method for producing a plastic bottle with improved molding cycle, less coloring problems such as whitening, and excellent transparency. In a method for producing a plastic bottle containing 0.005 to 0.025 parts by mass of a 1,2-benzisothiazol-3 (2H) -one 1,1-dioxide compound with respect to 100 parts by mass of a polyester resin. Then, a masterbatch containing the 1,2-benzisothiazol-3 (2H) -one 1,1-dioxide compound is prepared with respect to the polyester resin, and then the masterbatch and the polyester resin are mixed and mixed.
