The method of the present invention is a method for separating an initial fluid stream comprising phosgene and hydrogen chloride into at least a first and a second fluid stream, wherein the first fluid stream has a high hydrogen chloride content and substantially no phosgene. And the second fluid stream is a stream substantially free of hydrogen chloride and rich in phosgene. Separation is performed by feeding the initial fluid stream to a membrane separation unit, which separates the initial fluid stream into first and second fluid streams. [Selection] Figure 1 |
