A method for efficiently obtaining a cellulose fiber from a cellulose-containing component is provided. A cellulose-containing component and a compound having a 9,9-bisarylfluorene skeleton are mixed, and a compound having at least a 9,9-bisarylfluorene skeleton is separated from the mixture obtained through this step. Further, cellulose fibers can be obtained by defibrating the separated cellulose fibers as necessary. In such a method, even if a cellulose-containing component containing a non-crystalline component such as lignocellulose is used as the cellulose-containing component, the non-crystalline component is extracted with a compound having a 9,9-bisarylfluorene skeleton, and the efficiency is increased. Cellulose fibers can be obtained well. [Selection figure] None |
