[PROBLEMS] To perform hot press forming using a galvanized steel sheet or an alloyed hot dip galvanized steel sheet and exhibit high strength while avoiding the occurrence of LME cracks even if the heat holding time before forming is shortened. Useful methods for producing articles and press-formed articles obtained by such methods are provided. A method of manufacturing a press-formed product by forming a galvanized steel sheet or an alloyed hot-dip galvanized steel sheet by a hot press forming method, wherein the steel sheet is heated to a temperature of 880 ° C. or more and 920 ° C. or less.
