abstract | The present invention provides an axial gap generator that does not require the removal of each lead at the beginning and end of winding in a plurality of coils and their series connection. An axial gap generator PGa according to the present invention includes a stator STa including a coil 12a, and a rotor RTa including a magnet 14a and spaced from the stator STa in the rotation axis direction. The coil 12a has a single pancake structure including a long strip-shaped conductor member wound in a coil shape so as to finish winding on the outer peripheral side for the first time from the inner peripheral side, and an insulating member disposed between the turns.
