A Bmal1 gene expression activator capable of activating the expression of a Bmal1 gene having an important role in regulating circadian rhythm. A Bmal1 gene expression activator comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of an extract of Hiragi, Iris root extract, and hydrolyzed rice bran extract. As the expression activator, it is particularly preferable to use a cedar extract.
