titleOfInvention | Regenerative fuel cell |
abstract | A closed fuel cell is provided which can be reused without discharging any hydrogen gas, oxygen gas, and water to the outside. Liquid water is previously stored in storage tanks 2 and 2 ', and this water is used as water for supplying the polymer membrane. By individually controlling the temperatures of the storage tanks 2 and 2 ', the vapor pressure of water in the storage tank is set to a predetermined value. Pressure gauges 6 and 6 'can be used to set the water vapor pressure. The water gasified based on the set vapor pressure in each storage tank is supplied to the stack 10 together with oxygen from the storage tank 2 and hydrogen from the storage tank 2 '. With such a configuration, it is possible to adjust the amount of water contained in the polymer film and maintain the wet state of the polymer film without supplying water from the outside.
