abstract A cooling structure for an engine is provided that can prevent a coolant introduced from a coolant introduction section from flowing between a vertical wall surface of the spacer and an inner wall portion of a water jacket of a cylinder block from below the spacer. . The cooling structure of the engine is such that a coolant introduced into the outer wall portion 26 of the water jacket 22 of the cylinder block 20 is introduced into the lower end portion of the vertical wall surface 41 of the spacer 40 inserted into the water jacket 22 of the cylinder block 20. A guide portion 42 is provided to guide the coolant introduced from the coolant introduction portion 23 to flow around the vertical wall surface 41 at a position corresponding to the portion 23, and the guide portion 42 is provided from the lower end portion of the vertical wall surface 41. It extends toward the coolant introduction portion 23 along the bottom wall portion of the water jacket 22 of the cylinder block 20. [Selection] Figure 2
