abstract | An object of the present invention is to detect a connector fitting abnormality that may cause signal deterioration. A transmission apparatus includes a connector, an equalizer, a TAP coefficient updater, and a system abnormality detection unit. The connector C2 connects the signal path to the receiving unit 10. The equalizer 13a performs an equalization process on the received signal input to the receiving unit 10 via the connector C2. The TAP coefficient updater 13b calculates a coefficient for controlling the operation of the equalizer 13a and sets the coefficient in the equalizer 13a. The system abnormality detection unit 19 detects a fitting abnormality of the signal path in the connector C2 based on the coefficient set by the TAP coefficient updater 13b. [Selection] Figure 1 |
