abstract | The present invention is a method for inspecting the positioning accuracy of a CNC machine having a machine jig head and a machine table using an x, y, z coordinate system. The z-coordinate is a coordinate orthogonal to the machine table surface, and the method includes a) arranging a plurality of containers on the machine table, the containers being in fluid communication with each other and filled with liquid. Forming a container system; b) attaching a distance sensor to the machine jig head; c) positioning the machine jig head at an orthogonal position on the liquid surface in one of the containers; and d) a distance sensor.
