A fresh water generating apparatus, a ship, a facility, and a handling method for using distilled water as ballast water for a ship are provided. A kind of distilled water that uses distilled water as ship's ballast water, and a kind of fresh water generator, ship, facility, and its handling method for using distilled water as ship's ballast water. Consists of a hull, a pumping device, a distilled water freshwater generator, and a freshwater generator equipped with a ballast tank. The handling method is to pump water with a pumping device, distill the water pumped with a distilled water freshwater generator to make distilled water, pour the distilled water into the ballast tank, and use it as ballast water in the ballast tank. Used to adjust the hull balance and draft.
