The present invention provides a compound of formula (I), the variables as defined herein, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which is useful as a JAK kinase inhibitor. The present invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds, methods of using such compounds to treat the respiratory tract, and processes and intermediates useful for the preparation of such compounds.
