abstract The present invention provides a deodorizing facility and a deodorizing method capable of economically and efficiently deodorizing odor containing moisture generated from sludge or waste with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A deodorization facility 10 is processed by a pretreatment device 12 including a desulfurization agent that removes a odorous sulfide component from an odor containing moisture generated from sludge or waste, and a pretreatment device 12. A photocatalyst deodorizing device 13 having a photocatalyst that removes other malodorous components from the odor and a dehumidifying device 14 that is provided at least in the photocatalytic deodorizing device 13 and removes water contained in the odor. The deodorization method includes a sulfide removal step of removing a malodorous sulfide component from a odor containing moisture generated from sludge or waste with a desulfurization agent, and another malodorous component from the odor treated in the sulfide removal step. A residual malodor removal step for removing the residual odor with a photocatalyst, and at least the residual malodor removal step removes moisture contained in the odor. [Selection] Figure 1
