abstract An ultrasonic device capable of transmitting or receiving an ultrasonic wave with high performance is provided with which an ultrasonic element is hardly damaged. An ultrasonic device includes a vibrating membrane in which ultrasonic elements that transmit ultrasonic waves in a first direction are arranged on the opposite side of the first direction, and a first direction of the vibrating membrane on the side of the first direction. The ultrasonic wave propagation unit 16 that propagates the ultrasonic wave 13 is installed at a location facing the ultrasonic element 4 in FIG. 1, and the reverberation that is arranged from the side surface 16a of the ultrasonic wave propagation unit 16 to the vibration film 7 to reduce the reverberation vibration of the vibration film 7.
