abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a concentration of a gas to be detected with high accuracy by using two gas sensor elements. Further, the present invention provides a method of obtaining a concentration ratio of two component gases by using one gas sensor element. SOLUTION: In the concentration ratio calculation method, a gas sensor element is heated to a temperature at which both of two gas components introduced into the gas sensor element react, and the temperature is maintained for a predetermined time to measure an electric resistance value of the gas sensor element. The first measurement step, the second measurement step of heating the gas sensor element to a temperature at which only one of the two gas components reacts, maintaining the temperature for a predetermined time, and measuring the electric resistance value of the gas sensor element, and the first measurement. A concentration ratio calculation step for calculating the concentration ratio of the two gas components based on the combination of the electric resistance value in the step and the electric resistance value in the second measurement step is provided.
