Compound of formula (I): [Chemical formula 1306] Disclosed are pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, any of the above-mentioned deuterated derivatives, and any of the above-mentioned metabolites. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions containing them, methods of using them to treat cystic fibrosis, and methods of producing them. In some embodiments, ring D of formula (I) is pyridine-2 (1H) -one, pyrrolidine-2-one, or imidazolidine-2-one.
