abstract |
A module battery management system for managing a plurality of batteries and driving a load is provided. Bidirectional voltage converter modules are connected to batteries 101, 102 to 10n and to battery management control modules 1201 to 120n, respectively. The bidirectional voltage converter modules 401, 402 to 40n are connected in parallel to each other. Each of the energy storage modules 1401 to 140n is connected in parallel with the bidirectional voltage converter module and connected to a load. The bidirectional voltage converter module is configured to transfer power from the battery to the load or from the energy storage module to the battery. The battery management control module is configured to execute a predetermined program based on the state information of each battery and control the bidirectional voltage converter module. The battery, bidirectional voltage converter module, energy storage module and battery management control module are arranged in a redundant topology. If any of the components fails, the other components restore the function of the failed module. [Selection] Figure 1 |
