abstract PURPOSE: To contrive improvements in gas permeability, flavor holding properties and appearance properties, by a method wherein chain transfer of dehydrogen chloride reaction of vinylidene chloride resin is interrupted with an adhesive agent resin layer by interposing the adhesive agent resin layer between an intermediate layer of the vinylidene chloride resin and a scrap return layer. n CONSTITUTION: A vessel wall having an intermediate layer 4 of vinylidene chloride resin, an inner and outer layers 5, 6 of the thermoplastic resin extrudable at a temperature of 220°C or lower and an olefin copolymer containing a polar group provided on both sides of the intermediate layer 4 for its main ingredients is comprised of adhesive agent layers 7a, 7b extrudable at a temperature of 220°C or lower and a scrap return layer 8 provided between the adhesive agent layer and at least one side 5 (6) of the inner and outer layer. Then an inorganic or organic white or colored pigment not containing substantially an iron or zinc or chromium ingredient is contained in at least the outer layer 6 out of the inner and outer layers. With this construction, incidence of light into a resin layer due to reflection or absorption of the light due to the pigment and photo-discoloration of resin are prevented, coloring of the resin due to thermal history of the resin is concealed and appearance properties of a vessel is improved. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
