PURPOSE: To prepare a block polyetherester copolymer compsn. excellent in thermal stability and also in the appearance of the molded product by compounding a block polyetherester copolymer with a polyamide resin, a hindered phenol antioxidant, and a sulfur antioxidant and/or a phosphorus antioxidant. n CONSTITUTION: 100 pts.wt. block polyetherester copolymer obtd. by polycondensing a dicarboxylic acid component of which at least 60mole.% is pref. an arom. dicarboxylic acid derivative (e.g. dimethyl terephthalate) with a low-MW glycol (e.g. 1,4-butanediol) and a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol [e.g. poly(tetramethylene oxide) glycol] with an MW of 300-6000 is compounded with 0.5-20 pts.wt. polyamide resin (e.g. copolymer comprising polycaprolactam and polyhexamethyleneadipamide), a hindered phenol antioxidant (e.g. a compd. of formula I), and a sulfur antioxidant (e.g. a compd. of formula II) and/or a phosphrus antioxidant (e.g. a compd. of formula III). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
