titleOfInvention | Separator for fuel cell and manufacture thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prevent the performance deterioration of a cell by filling pores in a base material made of baked carbon with fluororesin melted and solidified. n CONSTITUTION: Baked carbon material is used as a base material 50, and pores 11 in the base material 50 are filled with fluororesin 9 melted and solidified. Gaps between fluororesin particles are also filled in airtightness. Since fluororesin 9 is water repellent, the penetration of an electrolyte and active material gas are prevented. The fluororesin 9 has corrosion resistance against the electrolyte such as phosphoric acid and its melting point is preferable to be 200°C or higher. The performance deterioration of a cell can be prevented. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
