titleOfInvention | Production of catalyst for removing nitrogen oxide |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a high-strength denitrification catalyst by adding oxide of vanadium, etc., to calcined titanium oxide and crushing the mixture and adding water thereto to make slurry and impregnating an inorganic fiber short with this slurry and bonding the sheet to inorganic fiber cloth. n CONSTITUTION: Catalyst composition is obtained by adding one or more kinds of oxides of vanadium, molybdenum and tungsten to titanium oxide previously calcined at 500-600°C. Then this catalytic composition is crushed so that powder having particle diameter not larger than 20μm is regulated to ≥90%. Thereafter water is added to this powder to make slurry. An inorganic fiber sheet is impreg nated with this slurry and furthermore this impregnated fiber sheets are bonded to inorganic fiber cloth and these are dried and thereafter calcined. In such a way, the catalyst itself has elasticity and also the high-strength denitrification catalyst capable of holding a shape by itself is easily obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
