titleOfInvention Organic coated steel sheet of superior resistance to corrosion after processing
abstract PURPOSE:To enhance resistance to corrosion after processing by adhering a coating material composition composed of modified epoxy resin blended with silica on the upper section of a chromate film on the surface of a zinc or a zinc alloy plated steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:A coating material composition having a 5- 500mg/m<2> chromate film expressed in terms of Cr on the surface of zinc or zinc alloy plated steel sheet is used, and 0.3 - 4.0g/m<2> of a coating material composition, composed of 100pts.wt. of modified epoxy resin to which 0.5 - 1.0mol dialkanolamine to one (1) equivalent of epoxy radical of epoxy equivalent 1,000 - 5,000 of urethane modified epoxy resin formed by reacting 10 - 100pts.wt. of an isocyanate compound with 100pts.wt. of epichlorohydrin - bisphenol A type resin, with which 10-150pts.wt. of silica as a solid content is blended, is adhered as a solid film on the upper section of said film. Such an organic coated steel sheet shows good electrodeposit coating properties and bonding properties after coating even at low temperature quick heating and resistance to corrosion of a processed section is increased.
