PURPOSE: To produce pharmaceutical preparation useful for treatment of depression by including a specific benzodioxinopyrrole derivative, selective α2 - adorenoreceptor antagonism. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation includes (±)-trans-5-fluoro2,3,3 a,9a-tetrahydro-1H-[1,4]bonzodioxino[2,3-C]pyrrole of formula I and its 3aS- and 3aR-isomers and a physiologically acceptable salt thereof with a physiologically acceptable carrier. The pharmaceutical preparation is useful for treatment and prevention of megrim, thrombosis, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, constipation, paralytic ileus or senile dementia, especially treatment of depression, and a daily dose thereof is suitably within the range of 0.05-3mg/kg. The compound of formula I is, for example, obtained by performing an amination a compound of formula II (X is an eliminable group) with ammonia or aqueous ammonia. |
