titleOfInvention Method for cold-rolling metal
abstract PURPOSE:To smoothly manufacture a metallic sheet or a metallic foil as restraining a herring bone by passing a cleaning stage for cleaning the surface of stock being rolled and a watering stage and then rolling the stock being rolled. CONSTITUTION:The rolled stock 14 coiled round a delivery means 12 passes a rolling mill 11 through the cleaning device 20 and the watering device 30, then, is coiled by a coiling means 13 and rolled. At this time, the cleaning device 20 drives unwinding reels 25,26 and winding reels 27,28, delivers a little amount of wiping members 23,24 and wipes the stock 14 being rolled with new surfaces. Further, solvent is supplied to the wiping members 23,24 to degrease the surface of the rolled stock 14. Furthermore, the watering device 30 injects the steam from a steam generator 32 and water fine particles from an ultrasonic humidifier 33 from an atomizer 31 to the surface of the rolled stock 14 sticks water uniformly to the surface, then, the rolled stock is moved to the rolling stage by the rolling mill 11 to roll the metallic sheet or the metallic foil.
