titleOfInvention Silver halide color photographic sensitive material
abstract PURPOSE:To improve color formability and to decrease the processing fluctuations by incorporating a coupler the coupling position of which has a specific elimination group into the photosensitive material and dispersing the coupler therein in coexistence with a specific org. solvent. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material having silver halide emulsion layers on a base contains one kind of the magenta dye forming coupler the coupling position of which has the elimination group expressed by the formula I and the coupler is dispersed therein so as to coexist with the high boiling point org. solvent expressed by the formula II. In the formula I, L1, L2 denote methylene, ethylene group; l, m denotes 0 or 1; R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; R2 denotes a group which combines with A by carbon atom, nitrogen atom, etc.; A denotes a carbon atom, or sulfur atom; n denotes 1 when A is the carbon atom and 1 or 2 when A is the sulfur atom. B denotes a carbon atom, nitrogen atom, etc.; X denotes an atom group necessary for forming a ring; in the formula II, L3, L4 denote alkylene, cycloalkylene group, etc.; X1 denotes groups of -O-, -S-, -SO, etc.; p, q, r denote 0 or 1; R11-R13 denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc. The color formability is improved in this way and the processing fluctuations in the continuous processing are decreased.
