titleOfInvention | Method for processing silver halide color photographic sensitive material |
abstract | PURPOSE:To make it possible to rapidly desilverize the subject material, and to reduce the tendency for generating a stain in the material by processing the material with a specified processing solution, and incorporating a specified magenta coupler in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The processing solution having bleaching ability contains a ferric complex salt of 1,3-diaminopropane tetraacetic acid of >=0.2mol/l, and has pH of a range of 2.5-5.5. The photosensitive material contains at least one kind of compds. shown by formulas I and/or II, as the magenta coupler. In formula I, R<1> is carboxylic acid amide or sulfonamide group, etc., R<2> is phenyl group, Z is a group capable of being released an anion by a coupling reaction with the oxidation of an aromatic primary amine developing agent. In formula II, R10 is hydrogen atom or a substituting group, Y2 is hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released by a coupling reaction, Za, Zb and Zc are each methine or a substd. methine group, etc. Thus, the photosensitive material is subjected to the rapid desilverization and has a less tendency for generating the stain, and the subject method does not have adverse effects upon a photograph. |
