titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material |
abstract | PURPOSE:To provide high sensitivity and to improve preservation stability by employing specific ether compound as sensitizer in a thermal recording material containing electron donative colorless dye and electron accepting compound as main ingredients. CONSTITUTION:Ether compound as sensitizer is represented by a formula 1, wherein R1 includes hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, halogen atom, and R2 includes alkyl group. When this ether is employed, a coloring starting temperature is high, and particularly high sensitivity is exhibited. The number of carbon atoms of the alkyl, alkoxy group is 6 or less, compound having 78 deg.C or higher of melting point is desirable, and R2O- which is disposed at p- is desirable. Examples include 1,2-bis-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propane, 1,2-bis-(2- methoxyphenoxy)propane, 1-(4-methoxyphenoxy)-2-(2-methoxyphenoxy)propane, 1-(4-methoxyphenoxy)-2-phenoxy-propane. |
