abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic yellow toner having high chargeability, superior spectral reflection characteristics, and superior color miscibility by incorporating a specified compd. as charge controlling agent and an acetoacetarylide type monoazo or disazo pigment as coloring pigment into a polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A compd. classified into C.I. Solvent Yellow 33 as charge controlling agent and an acetoacetarylide type monoor disazo pigment as coloring pigment are incorporated into a polyester resin. The amt. of the coloring pigment to be used suitably is 0.5-15 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. polyester resin, and the amt. of the c.i. Solvent Yellow 33 to be used suitably is 0.5-10wt.% basing on the amt. of the polyester resin. Thus, a uniform chargeability, superior spectral reflection characteristics, and superior color miscibility are obtd. |
