abstract | PURPOSE: To enable highly accurate operation of iron loss current and to perform highly accurate control by individually operating hysteresis loss and eddy current loss according to different functions with respect to the frequency and the flux density and then adding the operation results. n CONSTITUTION: Hysteresis loss current i gh and eddy current loss current i ge are operated, respectively, through a hysteresis loss component operating unit 22 and an eddy current loss component operating unit 23 and then the operation results are added in order to obtain an iron loss current i g . Coefficients necessary for operation in the hysteresis loss component operating unit 22 and the eddy current loss component operating unit 23 are obtained by operating an induction motor with no load under conditions where the frequency or the primary voltage are varied variously, prior to start of operation of a variable speed controller, thereby obtaining data necessary for operation of coefficients through a parameter operating unit 21 and then processing thus obtained data based on an algorithm employing minimum square rule. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
