titleOfInvention Nozzle device for use in cleaning of inside of tubular body or the like
abstract PURPOSE: To permit the forward and rearward movement of the end of a nozzle by the pressure applied through a conduit in order to simplify the nozzle structure by making a first feed and exhaust port communicate with a first cylinder chamber on the base end side of the case of a cylinder and a second feed and exhaust port with a second cylinder chamber on the forward end side of the cylinder case. n CONSTITUTION: To move back a conduit 20 and the end 21 of a nozzle, a pressurized washing water or compressed air is supplied from a second feed and exhaust port 28 to a second cylinder chamber 34. When the pressurized washing water or compressed air is supplied to the second feed and exhaust port 28 with the nozzle end 21 extended to the maximum possible extent, a piston 22 is forced toward the base end of a cylinder 18, whereby the conduit 20 can be moved back. With a first feed and exhaust port 27 kept closed during this time, the volume of a first cylinder chamber 33 is decreased, as the piston 22 moves toward the cylinder base end, whereby the washing water in the first cylinder chamber 33 is supplied therefrom through the conduit 20 to the nozzle end 21 and, from there, washing water jets are applied in all directions. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
