| abstract | PURPOSE:To improve the transformation ratio of a transformer and the safety, by performing an alkali cleaning under specified conditions prior to a rolling rate exceeding 96%, in the manufacture of the aluminum bar for coil of a transformer. CONSTITUTION:A pure aluminum in >=99wt.% purity is subjected to hot rolling and a cold rolling is executed thereafter. In this case, it is cleaned for 1-100sec with an alkali solution of >=pH10 prior to the rolling rate exceeding 96%. The reason why an aluminum bar is used as the solenoid coil of a transformer is because of the transformation efficiency being dropped with a heat loss being generated unless the purity is >=99.0% in order to use it as an electric conductor. Also the reason for the alkali cleaning is to prevent the short circuit of current due to the cause of the unevenness of the surface of the aluminum bar with the fine powder of an aluminum oxide, etc., being sticked to or pushed in the bar surface. Therefore, the alkali cleaning conditions are to process it for 1-100sec with the alkali solution of >=pH10. Consequently, the aluminum bar for coil of a transformer excellent in the short circuit prevention of a high pressure voltage can be manufactured. |
