abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the adjusting work of the position between a form cylinder and a roller by bringing the roller into pressed contact with or separated from the form cylinder via a fixed cam and a lever mechanism, thereby adjusting the twist of the form cylinder after adjusting the contacting pressure between the rollers, without the need for adjusting the contacting pressure again afterwards. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus has a form cylinder 1, a form roller 2 in pressed contact with the form cylinder 1, a vibrating dampening roller 3 in pressed contact with the form roller 2 and a water fountain roller 4 in pressed contact with the vibrating dampening roller 3. The contacting pressure between the form roller 2 and vibrating dampening roller 3 is adjusted by advancing/ retracting a rod block 31 which is slidably mounted by a pin 20 to a form roller arm 9 engaged with a rod 19 of a contacting pressure adjusting screw at a screw part and, a differential screw of a pin 21 which is slidably mounted to a swing arm 13 in the direction of the axial center of the roller 3. An adjusting knob 22 is turned to adjust the contacting pressure.
