titleOfInvention | Polyester fiber |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject fiber having minute protrusions on the surface, giving natural fiber-like feeling and having excellent operability by using a thermoplastic polyamide having high glass transition temperature as an island component and a polyester component as a sea component and spinning both components. n CONSTITUTION: The objective fiber having more than several tens protrusions (per 1cm of fiber length) each having dimensions (e.g. height, size in the direction of fiber axis, etc.) of several hundred mμ to several μm can be produced e.g. by melting and mixing (A) a thermoplastic polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate and (B) a thermoplastic polyamide produced by copolymerizing ethylenediamine, adipic acid and 5-t-butylisophthalic acid, etc., and having a glass transition temperature higher than that of the component A preferably by ≥20°C and spinning the molten mixture. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
