abstract PURPOSE: To discriminate easily from the other electric cable, by a method wherein a premolded body for pressurization and extrusion molding is demarcated in a radial direction from a through hole running along the center line by two surfaces and at least two divisions out of those divisions are constituted of mixtures having different colors from one another. n CONSTITUTION: A partition jig 10 provided with a hollow pipe member 10a and partition plates 10b, 10c, 10d fixed radially to a hollow pipe member 10a are arranged freely insertably and detachably within a hollow and cylindrical mold frame 9. Then a cavity part demarcated with the mold frame 9 and partition jig 10 is filled with a mixture of tetraethylene fluoride resin and a lubricant and the mixtures having different colors from one another are arranged to divisions each. Then after the partition jig 10 is pulled out from the mold frame, the mixture is pressurized within the mold frame and compression molding is performed. With this construction, a multi-colored coating is obtained by changing color combination of a premolded body 7 and a filament body which can be discriminated with mere sight of its cross section is obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
