titleOfInvention Rubbery surface layer material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a surface layer material having a small friction coefficient, no stickiness and excellent stain resistance by integral-blending or coating a perfluorocarbon silane compound to a rubber base material. n CONSTITUTION: A perfluorocarbon silane compound is integral-blended or coated to a rubber base material. It is desirable that a silicone rubber is selected as a material used as the rubber base material, but a fluoro rubber, an urethane rubber, and other rubber materials can also be used. When the perfluorocarbon silane compound shown in formula is integral-blended into the rubber base material and a rubber blade or a rubber roll, at least a surface layer section of which has the mixture, is formed, the silane compound transfers to the rubber base-material surface layer, and perfluoroalkyl groups are arrayed. Accordingly, the surface of perfluorocarbon acquired has properties such as rigid feeling, water and oil repellency, non-cohesion, etc., thus lowering the friction coefficient of the surface of a rubber molded form. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
