abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a silica-containing coating composition having high storage stability of reduced gelation with passage of time by using a reaction product between a specific aminoalcohol, alkoxysilane and water. n CONSTITUTION: The reaction between (A) one or more aminoalcohols selected from monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, mono-2-propanolamine, di-2- propanolamine, mono-3-propanolamine, di-3-propanolamine, (B) an alkoxysilane of the formula (R 1 , R 2 is C 1-6 alkyl, aryl, alkoxyalkyl; l is 1 to 4; m, n are 0 to 3 respectively, l+m+n≤4) and (C) water is carried out usually in an organic solvent to give the subject silica-containing coating composition suitable to insulation, surface protection and surface roughness leveling for semiconductors, liquid crystal display elements or the like. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
