abstract |
PURPOSE: To give a user smoking feel and effects without burning a cigarette by using combustible fuel member made from carbon in combination with a physically separated aerosol generating means that is heat transferable and exchangeable with the fuel member. n CONSTITUTION: An artificial cigarette is equipped with a short combustible carbonic fuel member 10, an aerosol generating means 12 and a paper tube 14 forming a mouthpiece 15. The fuel member 10 made from a carbonized wood is equipped with is five channels 16 extending lengthwise inside. The aerosol generating means 12 is provided with several glass beads 20 coated with aerosol generating material such like glycerin. The glass beads are kept held in a specified position with a perforated disc 22 made from a cellulose acetate. The foil lined paper tube 14 to form a mouthpiece circumscribes the aerosol generating means 12 and non-burning end of the fuel member 10 so as to form an aerosol supply channel 26 connecting the aerosol generating means 12 and a mouthpiece 15. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
