abstract | PURPOSE: To process the copy of one data block only by once transferring data by executing control between storage devices to recover the fault of data in the storage device. n CONSTITUTION: When a write request is issued from a CPU 14, a write data is transferred from the CPU 14 to a buffer 101 along data flow 161 and simultaneously transferred to buffers 121 and 131 of disk devices 12 and 13. When it is detected that the contents of the disk device 13 registered on a constitutive information control part 126 are not coincident, the disk device 12 issues a read request to the disk device 13 and the disk device 13 stores a read data in the buffer 131 and transfers the read data to the buffer 121. By using the read data of the buffer 121, the disk device 12 makes the contents coincident with the disk device 13.
