titleOfInvention High-concentration oxygen gas breathing device and high-concentration oxygen gas generating device
abstract PURPOSE: To reduce the need for the maintenance of this system on the ground, reduce the weight of oxygen gas storage cylinders, and minimize the number of cylinders. n CONSTITUTION: The high-concentration oxygen gas from a molecular sieve concentrating device 11 is sent to crew/passenger gas storage cylinders 22, 23 through a compressor 17 and a priority valve 24. An electronic control unit(ECU) 38 controls the cycle of the concentrating device 11. The ECU 38 is connected to receive the signal from a monitor 35 detecting the oxygen quantity of the gas from the concentrating device 11. The ECU 38 receives the signals from pressure sensors 42, 43 in the cylinders 22, 23 and starts this system when the quantities in the cylinders 22, 23 become the prescribed values or below. When both cylinders 22, 23 require to be filled, the ECU 38 preferentially fills the crew cylinder 22. The ECU 38 discharges the gas from the concentrating device 11 to the atmosphere when the system is started because the oxygen concentration becomes 90% or above. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
