| abstract |
PURPOSE: To produce an organopolysiloxane of excellent heat resistance by using a strongly acidic catalyst such as trifluoromethanesulfonic acid or silyl trifluoromethanesulfnate and nearly perfectly neutralizing the catayst. n CONSTITUTION: An organopolysiloxane is produced by polymerizing an organosiloxane by using a strongly acidic catalyst and adding an ammonia gas to this system, or alternatively by polymerizing an organosiloxane by using a strongly acidic catalyst and adding an ammonia gas and an organosilicon compound of the formula: R 3 SiCl (wherein Rs nay be the same or different from each other and are each H or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group) to the system. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
